Long Term Visiting Student at ICTS-TIFR | Aspiring PhD Candidate

I am broadly interested in theoretical and computational aspects of Astrophysics and Cosmology, with specific interests in the fields of General Relativistic Magnetohydrodynamical studies of accretion disks around compact objects, astrophysical jets, large-scale structure formation, 21cm cosmology, cosmic magnetism, statistical tools for cosmology. I am also interested in the application of Machine Learning techniques in corresponding fields.

Taking a survey and analysing the X-Ray spectra of Dual AGNs

In this project, I took a survey of dual Active Galactic Nucleus, as reported in literature and examined the X-Ray spectra of different sources. I used Chanda CIAO and NASA HEASOFT softwares to download, bin and fit the spectra to different models.

Detection of the Fe K lines from the binary AGN in 4C+37.11

We report the discovery of the Fe K line emission at approximately 6.62 keV with a width of approximately 0.19 keV using two epochs of Chandra archival data from the nucleus of the galaxy 4C+37.11, which is known to host a binary supermassive black hole (BSMBH) system where the SMBHs are separated by approximately 7 milliarcseconds, or about 7 parsecs.
